Fundraising Opportunities and Ways to help Harbor Homes Mark your Calendars for the Festival of Trees!
November 24, 2007
What if Harbor Homes, Inc. earned a penny every time you searched the Internet? Well, now we can! GoodSearch.com is a search engine that donates half its revenue, about a penny per search, to the charities its users designate. You use it just as you would any search engine, and it’s powered by Yahoo!, so you get great results. Just go to www.goodsearch.com and be sure to enter Harbor Homes, Inc. as the charity you want to support. Just 500 of us searching four times a day will raise about $7300 in a year without anyone spending a dime! And, be sure to spread the word! Brick Walkway of Honor Buckingham Place , located at 46 Spring Street in Nashua N.H., opened its doors in early spring of 2007. This transitional living facility consists of 20 apartments and serves as a new beginning for honorably discharged American veterans and their families. Buckingham Place is named in honor and in memory of Byron “Bucky” Buckingham. Bucky was a World War II veteran and a long time resident of Nashua New Hampshire over a half century of his life was devoted to helping his fellow veterans. The Brick Walkway of Honor located at Buckingham Place is a special way to honor and memorialize the American veterans in your life. When you purchase a brick, it will be engraved with your veterans name and other information you may wish to include (up to 3 lines). These bricks will be placed into a walkway of honor, serving as a historical testimonial of the dedication, bravery, and camaraderie of the veterans which have served our country. Inscribed stone benches are also available. Brick Details:
