Fundraising Opportunities and Ways to help Harbor Homes Information Coming Soon for our 2010 Fundraising Events! _____________________________________________________ What if Harbor Homes, Inc. earned a penny every time you searched the Internet? Well, now we can! GoodSearch.com is a search engine that donates half its revenue, about a penny per search, to the charities its users designate. You use it just as you would any search engine, and it’s powered by Yahoo!, so you get great results. Just go to www.goodsearch.com and be sure to enter Harbor Homes, Inc. as the charity you want to support. Just 500 of us searching four times a day will raise about $7300 in a year without anyone spending a dime! And, be sure to spread the word! Veterans FIRST Program
The Veterans FIRST program was established to provide honorably discharged homeless veterans and their families with the housing and supports needed to help them move toward independence. Residents have up to 24 months to take active steps to improve the quality of their lives and are provided the necessary support components in a safe, secure environment. All residents must attend school, work, or volunteer; be substance free, and attend house meetings. Through the provision of housing, individualized case management and support services, residents rebuild their lives enabling them to become productive community members. Brick Details:
