JOB SPECIFICATIONS The Program Manager Position is a residential /administrative position supervising residential staff and overseeing a program for disabled adults. It requires development, management and implementation of all residential service programs. Program Manager duties shall include but not be limited by the following:
Receptionist/Administrative Assistant posted 6/30/08 JOB SPECIFICATIONS: This position reports directly to the Controller. The appropriate candidate will be responsible for taking and transcribing minutes for corporate meetings, answering phones, supply inventory and ordering, monitoring donations, date stamp/distribute mail and payroll back-up. This position will also require the ability to create and maintain databases and spreadsheet files. The candidate will maintain confidentiality of all corporate, personnel and research matters as assigned by the Controller.The candidate should be able to demonstrate the following competencies: be adept at problem solving, possess exceptional interpersonal skills, be articulate, possess the ability to communicate effectively both orally and via written communication, be dependable, have the ability to work independently when needed and have the ability to adapt to a variety of demands and/or deadlines. Two to Three years experience required. Associates degree preferred.
MIMS Providers: Days, Evenings, Weekends These are direct care positions providing community based services one on one with our residents. Requirements: BS degree in human service or related field and 1 year experience working with mentally ill or homeless, valid driver’s license and proof of insurance. Hours 10-30 hours per week, $15/hr, non-benefit Overnight Resident Coordinator – Emergency Shelter and Buckingham Place Provide residents with case management, advocacy, assistance with employment, accessing benefit and community resources. In addition, will provide administrative support to the program. Requirements: BS degree in human service or related field and 1 year experience working with mentally ill or homeless valid driver’s license and proof of insurance. Experienced Grant/Proposal Writers – Part-time Seeking experienced grant writers to develop and write government, foundation, and corporate proposals to support our various programs and affiliate agencies. Successful candidates will have at least two years experience and proven success in writing both private and public grant proposals. Excellent written and oral communication skills required. Attention to detail and deadlines imperative and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
